How to submit a screenplay or treatment?

Once you have considered the report options available, contact Scriptreader via the report slot application form below or make a general availability enquiry by emailing scriptreader. We will inform you of the earliest available slot and provide you with the mailing details and final cost, after which you can decide whether or not to go ahead with the service.

From the start of the report slot, standard turnaround is between 7-10 working days. Quick or emergency turnaround options are available, depending on workload.

Do not send us the only hard copy of your screenplay or treatment, as we cannot be held responsible for its loss or destruction. We will write notes directly on all screenplays (except option A) unless prompted to make them off-script. Your screenplay or treatment will be retained unless you specifically request its return and have included an appropriate SAE. All retained screenplays and treatments will be destroyed after the report is completed.

You must ensure that the title page of your screenplay or treatment includes the original title and the name, address and contact details provided in your report slot application. If for any reason your details change, please inform us immediately.

Payment must be made in advance once a report slot has been agreed, using the following payment options;

• Via PayPal through the scriptreader email address (If you reside in another country PayPal will do the conversion for you and charge you in your local currency). International writers and producers may also pay by Telegraphic Transfer. Cheques or postal orders from UK residents are accepted, made payable to 'scriptreader.co.uk'. However, the report will not commence until payments are fully cleared.

Cancellations are fully refunded except for those made within three days of an arranged commencement date, which will be refunded 75% of the total fee. A cancellation within 24 hours will receive a 50% refund of the total fee.
